A very cold day in Munich and therefore a perfect day for indoor activities. I took a taxi from my hotel to the Munich Residence Museum and thought this visit would take about one hour, but it took me over two hours to see everything that the museum offered. It felt like it would never end. The museum was from the beginning the former royal palace of the Bavarian monarchs of the House of Wittelsbach, and it is the largest city palace in Germany, containing a total of 130 rooms.
After the museum I decided to go for a long walk without any goal. I just looked at the map in my cellphone and began to walk. Unfortunately I ended up in what I think was the most boring neighbourhood you can find in Munich, but on the way back I found a long wall with graffiti, and I love street art! During the evening I took a taxi from my hotel once again, this time to grab something to eat and to see the old buildings in nightfall. It was of course very beautiful, but I expected more lights on the buildings... Tomorrow I'm flying back to the reality in Gothenburg on the Swedish West Coast. Everything has an end, but I'm already planning for new adventures.
