After yesterday's experience on Po Toi Island we tried a different approach taking the metro and bus almost all the way to Bride's Pool. This area is situated in the northern part of the northern New Territories, close to the Chinese border.
First we went to a waterfall called Chiu Keng Tam. This was a very beautiful place, ideally for our little picnic. We then went for our little "finding the Bride's Pool-hike". After several wrong turns we finally found it, but unfortunately we were also found by a gang of angry, flying insects. We both got bitten, and rather quickly decided to end our hike. After a little time of numbness we were all good to go again and went back to Hong Kong.
In the end we had a great experience and it was nice to end the day with some relaxing time by the hotel roof top pool. Tomorrow we are heading back for Sweden, but we will only be home for one day before it's time to fly out again: next stop Romania!
