Since we were in such good time to Stockholm for our Sunday afternoon flight we thought we would have no problems... We were mistaken. Over the years we have been on a large number of flights, but this time, for the first time one of us got a seat and one got on the standby list. However, the situation was solved by the very helpful SAS ground staff and as a gift from ourselves we treated ourselves with a little upgrade. This was also for the very first time and it was a very good decision!
Upon arrival to Hong Kong at 7 am we were stunned by the humidity and the heat. Combined with us both being tired after a long night on the airplane, we wondered how on earth we could be able to stay awake all day. We still don't no how we did it, but now it's almost 9 pm.
The city is a melting pot of people and traffic, old worn down buildings alongside brand new, shining skyscrapers. The old trams, the buses and pedestrians compete for the space on the streets. We definitely have some discovering to do for the next few days!
