Ha Kome, and some bread...

Today, in the extremely hot sun, we drove to Ha Kome to see the views and also to visit the caves where three family's are living. Due to the extreme bad maintenance of the dirt road, we had to park the car at the top of a hill, and then walk down to the caves. Only a 30 minutes walk, but in over 30 degrees and no shade, it's tougher than it sounds.

On the way back to Maseru (the capital), we met this woman who asked for something small to eat. We gave her a crispbread, and she got so happy that she yelled all around the place. That's real happiness!

Tomorrow we're heading towards Swaziland. It's approximately an 8 hours drive through South Africa. Swaziland is, just like Lesotho, an independent kingdom. The country has it's borders to South Africa and Mozambique, while Lesotho is surrounded by only South Africa.
