After a lazy morning we drove north, along the river Sûre, enjoying the breathtaking landscape around the small villages Michelau, Bourscheid and Lipperscheid. It's a beautiful area and we left it with a feeling of calm. We then drove to Müllerthal in the eastern Luxembourg for a Sunday stroll in the beautiful Valley.
On our way to Berdorf (a place that offers great views of the eastern landscape) our car ran over a large rock that had fallen out on the road and we got ourselves a flat tire. Of course we're both glad that it ended well, but it's slightly frustrating to have a spare tire that only allows speed up to 80 km/h, and that it couldn't be driven for a longer distance than to Luxembourg City. So, we had no other choice than to cut the evening short.
